WESTCRESTWORKS LTD, trading as Westcrest ESOL Learning Materials, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights under UK GDPR.

Data we collect and why

• Account details (name, email address, sign-in identifiers) — to create your account and provide purchased access (contract performance).
• Purchase records (product, order reference, date, access expiry) — to provide and verify your access and meet accounting duties (contract; legal obligation).
• Support messages — to answer your questions (legitimate interests).
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, basic usage logs) — to keep the service secure, prevent fraud and fix problems (legitimate interests).

We do not use your data for marketing without your consent. Card details are collected by Paddle, not by us.

Who we share data with

• Service providers who host and run this website and sign-in.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting).
• Authorities where required by law.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active and purchase records for as long as required for tax and accounting (normally six years). Data is then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. We respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.

Cookies

We use only essential storage needed to keep you signed in and run checkout. We do not use advertising cookies.
